Wisconsin Dells

outdoor waterpark

we arrived at the Wisconsin Dells, Kalahari Resort at about 2:00 on the fourth of July.

indoor waterpark

we checked into our room (where everyone got a bed!) and threw on our bathing suits and went to the outdoor waterpark. we had about 6 hours until fireworks by then, so we were in the outdoor one for 3 hours, had dinner at one of the restaurants (the food was okay) and went to the indoor waterpark where we had the most fun. lets just say, surfing is not ana's thing. allana didn't want to try it, not being able to tread water (she can swim, somewhat. enough to survive), and when ana went on, she fell down immediately, and her bottoms did a bit too.
the fireworks we phenomenal. the show went on for about 20 minutes, and it was really pretty. the only downside was the fake palm tree in front of us. :(
we all got a good night sleep, and the next day we went out and did the same routine, this time with lunch in the middle. again, okay food.
just before we were about to leave, a huge thunderstorm came over, and so we all piled into the car and began our short drive to La Crosse, Wisconsin.
